Daisy is one of the directors at Forest Marble alongside her husband Will. She grew up in Somerset. Frome, in particular, was a ‘hotspot’ for her childhood with her family members spanning from North Somerset to mid Somerset, therefore she has fond memories of the town from an early age.
Daisy initially started her working career as a driving instructor. She qualified at the age of 21 and had an amazing time meeting and working with students of all ages. She loves working with people and especially teaching.
Following a change in location Daisy decided to have a change of career and decided that she would like to work within the medical field. She qualified as a dental nurse working within the NHS and private sector eventually advancing to working within a small practice that specialised in implants.
Daisy and Will met in 2010 and as time progressed they started dreaming about opening a business of their own and, hence, Forest Marble was born.
Their dream turned into a reality back in 2016. Daisy’s roles within the business have evolved as the business has grown. She works with the back office systems and ‘keeps the cogs turning’ within the team. She is responsible for finances, photography & administration.
Daisy and Will are thrilled to be a part of such an amazing business community, meeting fabulous clients along the way. They are incredibly grateful to the local community who in turn have allowed them to return the favour, supporting local charities including WHY and young minds and other local businesses.
Daisy and Will have developed an exceptional, hardworking team whom they are incredibly proud of.
Daisy absolutely adores her family, friends and animals. Daisy and Will have a very bouncy spaniel, who is now 3 years old. Daisy also had a lifelong dream of owning her own horse, which she fulfilled in May 2019 and could not be happier. Daisy and Sox are currently in training to start competing next year in local shows.
Daisy also loves travelling and exploring new places with her walking (and riding boots) in toe. Anything involving paws and hooves are encouraged within the household!
